2005 Schedule of Events

Friday May 27th

9am – 3pm Exhibit Hall (Building 12, Liberty Hall) open to vendors and sponsors for setting up, displays installations, and parking of show  vehicles.

9pm – The marshalling yard / parking lot for EuroFest participants and sponsors opens. This parking area will remain available through Sunday at 6pm.

9pm –3pm – Car club volunteers to assist the car / motorcycle dealers in picking up and delivering vehicles to the Exhibit Hall.

2:15pm - Gather in the back parking lot of the Factory for caravan to the Lane Motor Museum for participants. Depart at Approximately 2:30pm

3pm – 5pm – Tour the Lane Motor Museum

7pm –9pm – EuroFest Nashville pre-event party inside The Factory of Franklin in Liberty Hall (Building 12). This party is open only to those people whom have pre-register by the May 14th and to our participating sponsors.

 

 Saturday May 29th

7am – The parking lot opens to participants.

7am – Breakfast available for purchase at the Market Place on site.

7am – 10am – Day of Registration available at the staging area of the show. (Unless maximum registration level has been reached prior to the day of the event) All participants need to go by the registration table to pick up their registration packets if pre-registered or complete ‘Day of Registration’.

10:30am – All vendors and sponsors must be in place inside the Exhibit Hall or at the show site.

10:30am – All participants must be in place. The entrance to the parking lot will be closed.

NO EXCEPTIONS!

11am – 3pm – Lunch available for purchase on site

11am – This will be the advertised start of the event for the general public. All cars / motorcycles to be in position and final preparations made for the start of judging.

12 – 3pm - Judging will be taking place for the individual clubs as well as the car and  motorcycle “Peoples Choice Best of Show” for those vehicles that are in the judged classes.

3pm – 4pm – Ballots for each club will be counted by the respective club and the overall People’s Choice Awards will be counted.

4pm - Awards Ceremony will begin at the Market Place.  The sponsors of the event will be recognized, door prizes will be given away, and the trophies for the individual clubs and the Peoples Choice Awards will be handed out.  We would like to ask that no vehicle movement take place during the awards.

5:30pm - Conclusion.  The exit from the parking lot will open.  Please exit the parking lot with extreme caution.  Remember to gather all of your personal belongings and place trash in trash cans.  Each club must "police" their own area.

5:30pm approx -  Dinner will be served immediately after the awards presentation at the Market Place at the Factory.

Sunday May 30th

8:00 – 9:30am Breakfast available for purchase on site at the Market Place.

 

Road Rally and Poker Run

9:30am - Drivers meeting for the Road Rally at the Market Place at the back of the Factory.

9:30am - Riders meeting for the Poker Run at the Market Place at the back of the Factory.

9:45am - The Rally and Poker Run begin.

11:45am – 1:00pm Arrival of Poker Run participants and Road Rally participants at the Nashville Superspeedway.

12pm – 1:30pm Lunch available for purchase

1:00pm (approx.)- Final awards for the Poker Run and Road Rally.

 

Autocross / Drivers Education

7am – 8am - Tech Inspection

8am - Drivers Meeting

8:30am - 12pm - Morning session 

12pm - 1:30pm - Lunch and Tech Inspection for afternoon sessions

12pm - 1:30pm - Bloodworth BMW Motorcycle's Invitational Riders Education

1:30pm - 5:30pm - Afternoon session

5:30pm - 6pm - Demonstration Auto Race

6pm - Trophy ceremonies

 

Event Notes:

·         NO SMOKING IN “THE FACTORY” AT ANYTIME.

·         For your convenience, food and drink will also be available from the restaurants just inside The Factory.

·         Please place all trash in the trash receptacles through out the parking lot.

·         Be sure to hang onto your door prize ticket stubs for the door prizes.

·         Door prizes will be awarded by ticket number, so obviously you will have to be present to win.

·         Please attend to small children and prevent any unnecessary problems with other vehicle owners.

·         If there are any problems with the general public, please notify a Franklin Police Officer and allow them to handle the situation. 

·         WE WOULD LIKE TO ASK THAT YOU WAIT UNTIL AFTER THE AWARDS CEREMONY SATURDAY AFTERNOON BEFORE EXITING THE SHOW PARKING LOT.
